One Way To Make a Bedside Stand with Hairpin Legs
Get some knee pads
It’s amazing what gets put on the internet as a good idea. Sadly, some don’t know enough and follow blindly.
Fantastic job
Looks good. Why not 1x2's, and 1/2" oak plywood and paint? More room with a stronger shelf which can be painted with a very smooth finish. Drywall everything else.
“Why are you talking like thaaaaattt”😂
Come again ?
You firstly need to cut; the crackling voice. Stupidest thing that Americans do since a couple years.
You should do a drywall sink, toilet, and shower next.
thanks no more rounds in the chamber 👍 (jk i’ll just be more careful)
Looks like shit
Nothing wrong with that. But seems folks are too reliant on their power tools these days. Break out a hand saw and be done with it before you even found the wood for that jig.
Your voice is VERY annoying
Not too shabby, there's no need to put yourself down so much. But deffo take some time to sharpen your tools, they can only look after you as well you look after them.
Why don't you just flip the table saw over and push it over the material?
Downsized to 3 shelves
Not bad
Thank you!
Looks good! 👍
Thanks so much!
4/10
That’s fair, I’ll take it. I’ll go for a 6 on the next one. Thanks for watching!
You did a great job but these are ugly as shit
Jesus his voice has so much vocal fry
You should just take your buddies and hunt those snipes
It looks like an eyesore tbh
Spray adhesive and staples...... Thank you! Thank You! Thank You! It works excellent!
Yes! I’m a huge fan of it too. Thanks for sharing and for watching!
Terrible and cheap..unbelievable.. That you would ruin that hole built-in. You could have wrapped the whole interior with a really pretty wood. And stained it or even painted it. And made wood shelves. It would have been really solid and then added a really nice frame Hiltons are a great feature and also a great selling feature. And add value but definitely not that 1 people tear dry while ones out to put nicer ones in. So hopefully you could get rid of that one and start over and put something really nice and and then apologize to your viewers for your mistake
I think what you’re describing sounds awesome. Great thinking! I happy with how this came out but maybe I’ll give yours a try on another project. Thanks for sharing and for watching!
I mean you can notice it up close but I doubt anyone would notice it from a distance. Looks good!
That’s the hope! Thanks for letting me know and for watching!
I can still see it. But it still looks good
Thank you so much!
Good work but the voice makes me sick
One of those things where you know where it is and see it all the time only cuz you did it yourself vs someone else who thinks the table is perfect cuz they don’t know about it and cuz you did it so well
Good job looks good
Thank you I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
It’s a pity you can’t handle a skill saw.
you can’t make a sled accountable by only attaching the back fence. You have to have a front fence as well even if it’s not square. Just to hold all the material together and accurate. Just watch William Ng, he is the inventor of the 5 cut method I believe. Just a formula for getting a sled accurate to .001. But don’t really worry about it on a saw like this. Cast iron cabinet saws are a much better option for your efforts.
Ate up a lot of space.
That’s true, each shelf is slightly taller but there are less shelves over all. It was plenty of space for what was needed here but in some spaces it wouldn’t be enough. Thanks for watching!
Think people missing the other point of the video he made it for a cutting a down a board but what’s beyond that for a sled? You can had a sled for repetition and multiple cuts of something. Yes their are different ways he could have gone about cutting what he had and y’all keyboard warriors going off and having tunnel vision and not thinking of the BENEFITS OF A SLED.
Any chance you are in the Pacific Northwest? I got a mid century retro modern lane furniture coffee table that I’ve only ever been able to find one other example of an it sold for like 800 bucks a decade ago. You can have it if you show yourself restoring it and then you can sell it and keep all the money but I’ve been holding it in storage for a decade and it’s time. This offer is for the channel creator only.
Wow that is such a generous offer, thank you so much. Unfortunately I’m on the east coast and getting it to me might be a challenge but I’d love to hear more about the piece and if there’s anything I can do to help I will. If you like, send me some photos and any information about it to onewaytomake@gmail.com I’d love to see it and like I said if I can think of any way I can help I would love to. Thanks again for your kind offer, it’s truly appreciated.
Why not show the repair after the varnish? This way seems dishonest
Definitely not my intention to be dishonest, I used Rubio mono coat as a finish and I’m pretty happy with how the patch looks after the finish was applied. The full video will be out in a couple of weeks I hope you check it out and let me know how you think it turned out. Thanks for watching!
The patch is easy to see, but the camera is focused on it. You did a hell of job cleaning it up.
Guys gotta be German
lookin good
Thank you!
Great fix.
Thank you so much!
I mean, as an electrician that loves doing drywall work because it is a constant way to challenge my skills. I can understand why you would do that. However, just do it in poplar. Increase your carpentry skills.
Canadian. Same accent as ‘we’re in hell’ I’m guessing same location I think he’s from Ontario? Good work on the patch!
We do this all the effen times as carpenters and so much people show it
Yikes so many inside corners! 😳 i would have nightmares
Gay af
I don’t got that. Ima needa make more money to pay people to do that… you’re great.
Creating work for yourself when not needed. Must br nice to have time to waste. 😂
"Too long for table saw" proceeds with how to cut on table saw
Too long cir the table saw. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 people listen to 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
To all those saying drywall will not hold… These were in just about every house built in 95-00 with big cubed recesses for those big (heavy) tube TVs The drywall will hold up fine. My only question is “Why?” when everyone else is having them removed and replaced with more traditional built-in shelving!
where are you from, I like how you say 'mud' :)
